doinGlobal Founders Message – April 1, 2020

The world as a whole is going through an extremely difficult time. Perhaps, the most difficult of which we are aware – something that we will confirm over time. The COVID-19 Pandemic surprised us. Strikingly impacting most countries on the planet. Undoubtedly, an extremely complex situation, with tragic consequences.

Humanity has never faced global isolation of these characteristics. Nothing had ever affected us all equally, without distinction. The population has even begun to feel the economic and social effects that this pandemic is beginning to generate. Both in our community and in the more than 170 nations affected, unfortunately.

In just a couple of weeks, we have all completely changed the way we live. Without exception. Without objection.

In order to get ahead, with the least possible suffering, we will have – more than ever – to act with extreme rigor to the indications that the leaders give us: politicians, health professionals from the scientific community, and civil society leaders. It is time to make supreme obedience to the experts.

Faced with this unique and evolving challenge, we want to express – with sincere commitment – that doinGlobal will continue to provide its services to you. We have a mission. And that mission is to put all our experience, energy, creativity, discipline and knowledge, to collaborate to overcome these circumstances.

In more than 10 years of activity, we have overcome different storms. Throughout this shared journey, we have worked to support and maintain our “doers”, our faculty – teachers and experts – and our community of students. And we will not give in.

Many companies are doing their best to help. Neither can do it alone. We call on all the institutions that make up the educational community to join in supporting the most vulnerable people during this crisis. In the past few months, we have seen generosity and kindness. Intergenerational support and solidarity. And a remarkable strength. In these moments, courage, generosity and resilience will make a difference.

Therefore, at doinGlobal, we are committed to maintaining the continuity of our community, the regularity of our programs, and the operation of our service, so that they are building solutions for the transition and the near future, what is coming right now.

We will contemplate special situations for those who are affected by the circumstances and cannot comply with the course or the deliveries. We will study case by case. We will give efficient and concrete answers. We will be close. Because we understand that maintaining non-face-to-face academic activities (online) in this context of isolation, contributes to providing a positive containment space, very necessary for many of you.

Focusing on reading, study, classes, interaction, exchange, and dialogues with peers – moreover, from different parts of the world – provides a needed platform and a hopeful space, to project yourself more clearly in this difficult moment, reinforcing vision, purposes and human values, so necessary in these circumstances.

We are promoting more and new spaces for meeting and reflection, conferences, and participation in free events, thus generating synergies with institutions and referents so that they can share information and perspectives that enrich the vision of problems and ways of intervening.

We want to improve the possibility of raising capacities, so each one of you will not need to “guess” the future, but to take responsibility and offer the securities that constitute transitory “anchors” until new certainties can be found.

At doinGlobal we are ready to help. We believe that the world needs leaders today, more than ever, who can make a better world, adding sustainable value, from a Global perspective. Our mission is to make that happen. Providing training, through modern, convenient, affordable and – above all – safe learning methodologies and experiences.

We are prepared for this. We have been doing it for a long time. And today it is our duty to support and collaborate in the re-construction of a world in trouble. Together we must overcome this battle. It is time to give our best, as all humanity will.

doinGlobal understands that this crisis will be serious, rough and deep.

But also, that it will open up the possibility of projecting us into the future positively, giving us the opportunity to review those daily practices and surrounding realities that we all should improve, to consolidate and strengthen human and natural values ​​that allow us to build a better and more sustainable future.
